The Shipping Professional Network in Hamburg (SPNH) is a new platform for young shipping professionals. It is our goal to regularly host events where professionals from all areas of the industry can get together to network, socialise and learn more about the shipping industry.
Our events will offer you the opportunity to hear expert opinions on several shipping related topics – all presented by respected leaders from various fields in the maritime industry. These fields range from the bunker industry, ship valuation, maritime law, ports, piracy, ship classification, shipping finance, maritime economics, research and much more. Moreover, our members will also get the opportunity to take part in excursions to experience the world of shipping from the practical side.
There are many different platforms around, which offer their members the chance to network with their peers. But none of the established platforms is precisely focused on the support of the new shipping generation. SPNH will encourage young professionals who have several years of experience to make the most of the benefits that Hamburg, as a world-class maritime cluster, has to offer.
We are delighted to invite you to our Kick-Off Event, which will take place on Thursday the 31st of July 2014. The launch event will be held at the Hanse Lounge (see: http://www.hanse-lounge.de/)
It will be a first get-together in order to learn more about our network and our future projects as well as get in contact with new people from within the business.
