Dear Friends of Shipping,
We are delighted to invite you to our next event in joint cooperation with HSBA – Hamburg School of Business Administration on the topic of “Disruptive Business and Digital Challenges – Experts Discuss the Future of Shipping”.
Weak and volatile freight markets, oversupply of tonnage, statutory environmental challenges and liquidity paucity for marine projects suggest that the current business model is changing. Experts and business decision-makers agree that the ‘industry should reinvent itself’, but none really knows which direction to take or the appropriate mix of resources, expertise and risk. Nevertheless, all agree that digitalizing the industry is one of the necessary steps towards future disruptive and sustainable business models.
We offer the opportunity to explore the subject with the help of renown experts, who will enlighten us with ideas, views, lessons and examples.
