Nicolai Hansteen, Head of Analytics at Lorentzen & Stemoco

Lorentzen & Stemoco AS is a storied Shipbrokerage house with a history stretching back over a century and a footprint in all major shipping segments.  From their headquarters in Oslo, Norway they manage a globally diversified team of shipping professionals across three continents. Nicolai currently holds the position of Head of Analytics at Lorentzen & Stemoco. Nicolai follows developments in the market closely from hour to hour. Before starting in Lorentzen & Stemoco, Nicolai was a Senior Shipping Analyst at Pareto Securities.


Arthur Richier, Senior Freight Analyst at Vortexa

Arthur Richier is a senior freight analyst at Vortexa, an energy intelligence provider delivering the most comprehensive view of waterborne crude oil and refined oil products available today. Previously he worked as a pricing specialist covering the tanker markets on the shipping pricing desk at S&P Global Platts in London.

Arthur was elected as Associate Board Member of the SPN London in 2019.


Mark Cameron, Executive Vice President and COO at Ardmore Shipping

Mark Cameron is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Ardmore. Mr. Cameron joined Ardmore as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed an alternate director in June 2010. In addition, Mr. Cameron is the current Chairman of the International Parcel Tankers Association 65 (IPTA), is on the Board of the West Of England P&I Club and is also an advisory Board Member to the NGO Carbon War Room.


Isabel Dressel-Hortsch, Manager Energy & Fuel at Carnival Maritime GmbH and Chairwoman of SPN Hamburg

Isabel works as Manager Energy & Fuel at Carnival Maritime. She has more than 13 years of experience in the shipping industry. During these years she worked as a Bunker Trader with Bomin Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG (Marquard & Bahls Group) and as an Operator and Technical Controller at TB Marine Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG.

Isabel is one of the founding members of SPN Hamburg.


Jason Nangle, Managing Director of Faststream Recruitment Group (Asia Pacific)

Jason Nangle is the Managing Director of Faststream Recruitment Group (Faststream) who leads the business operations in the Asia Pacific region. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in maritime executive search and recruitment, including market intelligence and people advisory in the Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Incepted in 1999, Faststream is a global people specialist in maritime recruitment with more than 100 employees.


David Tubb, Recruitment Director from Spinnaker (UK)

David is a Recruitment Director with over ten years’ experience consulting on recruitment in the maritime industry. Specialising in shorebased positions, David has consulted on Commercial, Technical, Sales & Marketing and Finance disciplines. He has international exposure building a network of world class maritime people. David has partnered with the industry’s leading shipping companies and maritime associations, to match talent with opportunity and bring the latest HR thinking. Holding a BSc (Hons) in Social Studies, David is a member of The Recruitment and Employment Confederation.


Manas Vaid, Risk Management at Maersk Group and Chair of SPN Mumbai

Manas’ maritime career started working ashore with Jayesh Shipping Pvt Ltd, Mumbai in 2004, as an intern. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Marine Engineering from Birla, Institute of Technology and Science University – Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). Following that he sailed as Marine Engineering Officer onboard tankers (MR/LR – Oil/Product) with TORM A/S for three years. In 2009, he relocated to London to complete his Masters degree in Maritime Operations and Management from City University London. Manas served on the SPNL board in 2010 and is founding chairman of SPN Mumbai. He serves in the Treasury & Risk division of A. P. Moller Maersk Group, handling Marine Insurance & Claims portfolio for a global fleet.
