The Mission to Seafarers annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Tuesday, 4 December 2018. This is always an excellent occasion with very strong representation from the shipping industry and beyond. The church is normally full to the rafters, and we hope that this year will be no exception. Readings at this year’s service will be given by some of the industry’s most notable personalities, including Transport and Maritime Minister, Nusrat Ghani MP. This is a highlight of the Christmas social calendar for the UK’s maritime industry, and in previous years has regularly been attended by HRH The Princess Royal. The service will feature popular and new carols, Christmas readings and music from the renowned Lloyd’s Choir. Following the service guests are invited to a festive drinks reception at the Worshipful Company of Skinners’ Headquarters at Skinners’ Hall.
