Park is an Analyst & Business Development Korea for VesselsValue; the leading online valuation and market intelligence provider in the shipping and offshore sectors, having more than 400 global clients including the major banks, leasing companies, shipowners, ship managers, investment funds, hedge funds and so on.
Park is a shipping enthusiast. He built technical and operational aspects of shipping through working on LNG, oil tankers and container ships with Hyundai Merchant Marine as a navigation officer. Park holds Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Safety and Environment from Korea Maritime and Ocean University.
Park came to London to complete MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Cass Business School, London. Prior to working with VesselsValue, Park also experienced IMO as an intern. Away from work, Park is a keen golf and tennis player.
Park was appointed as an SPNL associate board member in June 2016.
In October 2017 he was appointed as Deputy Chairman.
