Lord Mayor of the City of London Presented with SPNL LISW Plaque

SPNL presented Lord Mountevans of Chelsea with the London International Shipping Week-SPNL plaque, depicting Tower Bridge with drawbridge in the open position. As the Thames River was the historical key trade route for the nation’s capital, symbolically representing that London is “Open For Business”.

Mountevans, a managing director at Clarksons Platou, former Chair of Maritime UK and Chair of the Maritime Growth Study will become the City’s 688th Mayor on November 13th.
The mayoral role, which is more than 800 years old, encompasses ensuring the area’s pre-eminent place in global finance as well as day-to-day City issues such as parking and services . As Mayor of the City of London, Lord Mountevans will spend about three months a year leading overseas delegations trying to win business for the City.
