Maria Michael is a Maritime Business student from Cyprus, Limassol at the University of Plymouth in the UK with an interest in law and economics. She has been elected Secretary for the University of Plymouth Shipping Society and SPNSW. Having previously interned at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, she has a keen interest in the offshore maritime sector and constantly seeks to gain professional development in the maritime industry. Besides keeping up with the shipping world, Maria is voluntarily involved in politics through the European Youth Parliament since 2017 and mostly takes part in session as part of the media team.
