Marina Ledakis is the primary clean tanker freight reporter for S&P Global Energy in London. She regularly leads task forces dedicated to providing actionable insights and accurate, timely freight price assessments for the Mediterranean, Black Sea, UK Continent, and West African markets. An experienced analyst and freight price assessor, Marina also has exposure to dirty tankers, dry bulkers, and LNG carriers.
Marina has been instrumental in developing key Platts shipping and freight initiatives, including the Platts Global Dirty and Clean Tanker Indices and the Platts LNG Global Freight Route Costs. Before joining Platts, she worked with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and JLA Media. Marina holds a Master’s degree in Shipping Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School and an undergraduate degree in Politics with Economics
