Nick is the Senior Pricing Specialist at the London Dry Bulk desk of S&P Global Commodity Insights Platts, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS) since 2018.
Currently covering the Atlantic Panamax market, Nick provides daily freight rate assessments for key grain and mineral routes while delivering insightful analysis of the latest supply & demand fundamentals.
Before joining S&P Global, Nick was the Senior Market Analyst at the geospatial intelligence firm Kayrros, based in Paris, France, where he spearheaded the analysis of seaborne iron ore and coal markets using satellite data.
Nick holds a Master in International Energy Economics and Politics from Sciences Po Paris and is an EU-qualified lawyer.
Nick was elected as an Associate Board Member in 2023 and moved to Membership at th end of 2023. He stepped down from the board at the end of 2025.
