Pelin is a dual-qualified solicitor of England and Wales and lawyer of Türkiye, bilingual in English and Turkish, with over ten years of experience as a generalist litigator and advisor. She has advised conglomerates and private clients across transportation, energy, maritime, corporate, and financial matters, including complex cross-border disputes and casualty related work.
Since relocating to London, Pelin has worked on legal and corporate intelligence-led projects while transitioning into the UK maritime sector. She now focuses further on shipping and marine insurance, drawing on her commercial background, insight into global trade dynamics, and experience in multistakeholder environments.
Pelin was elected to the SPNL Board as a Events Board Member in December 2025.
